Volunteers needed.

Whites Spinney

Woodland Activities & Crafts.

Saturday 26th November

At 2pm.

Following on from the previous successful woodland activities at the spinney, here is another chance to help us look after a very special place and join the parish wildlife warden for an afternoon of wildlife conservation.

To keep the spinney in good health some light woodland management is needed. Come along and help prune some of the small trees to make room for more wildlife.

Also, get hands on with a rural craft, making hurdle fences.

None of the activities are physically demanding, and provide an enjoyable way to spend time in the great outdoors!

Please bring loppers and secateurs, plus gloves, stout footwear and suitable outdoor clothing.

Whites Spinney can be found just off the Lias Line Cycleway between Bascote Road and Stonebridge Lane, access is via the SM5a public footpath.
