Volunteering

Volunteer to help your local wildlife and make a difference.

Volunteering is a great way to experience nature and contribute to your community. Nature is important to all of us, lending a hand however small is a great way to enrich your own life and create positive change. Opportunities include hands on conservation tasks, nature surveys, and assist in caring for our local nature sites, plus website and social media.

Duke of Edinburgh Award.

In need of a placement for your volunteering section? The parish wildlife warden with support of Long Itchington Parish Council, can provide opportunities to complete this important part of the award. The warden has successfully helped many young adults undertake their bronze and silver volunteering sections, by providing a range of nature conservation tasks that help to develop new skills and also provide interest. It is insisted that one parent be present during activities for safeguarding purposes, but also to help reassure participates who may not have any prior experience of volunteering.
